Jehova Wrinkle was an early project by Jay Watson, pre-Dental Work, pre-Placenta Recordings, and the first 2 albums and an EP were the very first releases on Placenta Recordings back in 2006 and 2007. Dabbling with Hip Hop, Industrial, Electronic, Field Recordings, Metal, and Noise, before I even knew what Noise was. A life of mental illness intertwined with experimental drug use and a life long addiction to bizarre music is responsible for the results - these albums were forced out into the sick sad world we call home as a kind of therapy. A mix of live instruments, programming, turntables, and sampling, this project was left to rot once I began making music as Dental Work. I burned copies of the albums on CDR with black & white images from Rotten.com which was a real life changer let me tell you. This music today would perhaps fall under the GORENOISE, BREAKCORE, and VAPORWAVE categories, but still a unique hybrid of sound collage that is unexplained. Available digitally for the first time ever, and physically avaible in one spot since copies existed in extremely limited quantities back in 2007. This collection includes "Lowercase Mindstate", "Lysurgery EP", "Random Acts Of Surgery", and the unreleased and forgotten until now "Umbilical Splicer" albums for your research and enjoyment. The name "Jehova Wrinkle" basically translates to the thought of organized religion being dated and obsolete, with a lack of respect directed at "the gods"... - Jay Watson (Jehova Wrinkle, Dental Work, Placenta Recordings) February 2020.

"Another trek trek through the mental realms of Jay Watson aka Jehova Wrinkle. I was taking psychedelics among other things during the months of making these albums. On these albums I used a Peavy 4 string bass, various keyboards, turntables, drum machines, synthesizers, distortion pedals, samples, and various sound effects made in my clandestine studio. I recorded the material on my CPU with the help of a free microphone, lots of weed, and a Magix program. - Jehova Wrinkle (2007)
